山陰の剣 (Yamakage no Ken - "The Mountain Shadow Sword")

2/8/2012: After nearly 11 months, the custom made Howard Clark katana has arrived. The blade geometry is based upon a 14th century nihonto made by Go Yoshihiro, a student of Masamune, and considered one of the greatest smiths to have ever lived. The blade is forged from modern L6 steel, while the tsuka and koshirae were assembled by Fred Lohman.
